Just diving into some of your writings after clicking around your very beautiful website and really feeling the You Should Make Art piece. I don't have any of my art here on Neocities because I'm trying to remain relatively anonymous here, but I i echo your feelings and sentiments 110% and "Just Make The Art" has been a mantra of mine for some time. Looking forward to digging around and reading/viewing more!

Hey Cementgarden! You are fine to copy my layout for a website if you deem it fit. I feel that by increasing this number of pages and the links to them, readability is greatly increased. Also adding a background color can also aid in better readability. I hope this helps.

thanks! it's hard for me to reconcile practicality and aesthetics, especially as someone who loves making things pretty lol. your site has a really simple charm, and i wanted to make a layout like that for a while, but they always end up growing into something different.

The trick, in my opinion, is the background color. Go for a light shade of a color, or if you want something that reflects a night owl personality, then go for light text and a dark background. The color on my site is #FFFFBA. If you want, you could tell me your favorite color, and I could come up with a hex code.

The some good shades of pink are #FFBABA, #FFCABA, #FFCDBA, #FFBACB and #FFBADB. This should provide a wide range of lighter shades of pink. Enjoy!

you could try making an rss feed! it's basically an xml file that you manually update, and those who are subscribed to the feed will get a notification
