*very* tiny update but I scaled down / optimized a few pics onsite. Mostly as a test & because a few pics were way too big. I'll pause for now though, this & making things look just the way I want is driving me nuts tbh...

though tbh I'm planning on getting supporter within the next few months & it's not like I'm posting 500 new pics per-year lol. Still better for site performance in the long run I guess

Great thing but pretty annoying to do π΄ haha. Good luck! Best is to use scale down pics from the very beginning, especially if you have a lot of them and big projects. Resizing stuff is pain. Don't be me π I also haven't done is at first.. like at all.

im so curious btw how are you generating your website rn because everythings got the same headers n stuff yknow? sorry if youve explained it on your site and i didnt see it

dw i haven't! ur all good:) but uhmmm incredibly ineffictently is how! i've literally just copied the base html across all my pages (and have to manually update/edit everything) :,) the type of SPA i'm (eventually) implementing will just automatically insert the base code, so i can avoid what i'm currently doing! i don't know /how/ bad it currently is, but it's not the most effcient nor practical

You can create a template page of your index, and just copy and paste it, but you must still edit the menu to put your links as you add more pages, or workout the file names and put them in your template before you start.

@nimravidae slay π i actually coded a python thing to generate my pages for me by inserting a header and footer. it has its limitations tho and i do want to make it better At Some Point. i hope you get your SPA thing working!!! glglgl (and hf with uni too that sounds so fun)
