Well, I made a Melonland Forum account, but it's Monday so the forum is closed. I remember finding a workaround to this a long time ago, but it either doesn't work, or I forgot it. I'll link my account here in the replies when it re-opens. And I'll also add it to my "contact me" page.

replying to ur question, i think the scrollbar thing is only availible on firefox. i'm not worried abt that tho i mainly meant the point n click thing on the art page and the image border

custom scrollbars should actually be supported natively on chromium-based browsers as of last year, if that's helpful to know. safari and other webkit-based browsers you can still customize scrollbars on, but you'll have to duplicate all your code and add -webkit- before everything. https://caniuse.com/css-scrollbar this site's really helpful for checking what browsers support what features, at least i use it a lot

For other browsers, use the pseudo elements: ::-webkit-scrollbar, ::-webkit-scrollbar-button, ::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb, ::-webkit-scrollbar-track, ::-webkit-scrollbar-track-piece, ::-webkit-scrollbar-corner, ::-webkit-resizer (info automatically gotten from W3Schools)

I think my next big update will be when I finally index my videogame collection. I'm glad I'm taking more time right now to browse Neocities rather than conventional social media, it's been therapeutic.

Hey! Awesome webpage! Just wanted to let you know that on a few of your "gallerybox" sections don't display properly on some screens, meaning that it's impossible to read the top paragraphs! I found this error on your Home Page's Journal, and your About me page as a whole. Hope this gets fixed soon!

In my opinion, I think their biggest flaw is that FederieFederi doesn't have any way to privately communicate. This obviously leads to them airing out their dirty laundry, and everyone seeing it on either their neocities profile, or front page. The mass unfollowing was a bit unnecessary in my opinion, and it makes the whole project seem like a follow for follow exit scheme.

Another problem I've had with them was their horribly worded rules. What purpose does it give to remove buttons after an undisclosed period of time? And now that they've since then updated their rules, it's even worse! Banning anyone who interacts with someone who doesn't support their project? That's just how echo chambers are created!

I was going to link their post about banning those who associate with those who don't support their project, but they have disabled comments on their Neocities profile. Meaning that everything about this event is gone, but I remember what I saw. If you have any resources, such as screenshots of the events unfolding, please contact me.

"interacts with someone who doesn't support their project" we didn't say that, we said: "AGREES with someone who is AGAINST it", that's what happens when people like you don't read or can't understand, they start changing our words. we're not afraid if everyone shares our discussions, we even told them to take screenshots because we said we're about to delete them in a few days (maybe you missed that post) bye~

Thank you for clarifying some information I might have misremembered. I know you've probably blocked me (or deleted your page all together) but I hope you realize that I wasn't ever against your project, I just wanted to voice some opinions of how it was being policed and managed, even if those thoughts might be a bit late now.

Also, I should clarify that when I said "interacts with someone who doesn't support their project." I meant it was someone who was actively against what the project stands for. That's on me, I misworded what I remembered seeing.

i dont think so, sometimes yes depending on how they've set their system up (and sometimes its the opposite, the domain sites are blocked 99% of the time but not Neocities sub-domain)
