I've asked this before but if anyone knows how to make relative paths display in VSC... let me know because I am so lost even when I have an offline copy of my site on a different drive ๐ญ

I'm trying to read about it but I plan on removing absolute paths from pages even if I can't see them offline (but can when it's uploaded, somehow) because this was on my to-do list...

wish you luck with finding a new job soon! and, yeah, dreamwidth is surprisingly lively, if you look in the right places. the culture is very casual and slow-paced, which is really refreshing in the modern era of social media, and people seem more willing to have thoughtful discussions.

Slower and more thoughtful stuff is what I'm interested in, I just had zero circles who used DW (everyone just migrated to Tumblr) so I never knew where to jump from. I was on anon comms a lot in the mid-late 2010s but the big names have the same issues modern social media does... I need to be in namespace on there since the format is nicer than Twitter/Tumblr.

I've noticed a decent amount of sites have little text Easter eggs or "hidden" content if you push ctrl+U, I might start doing that more too ๐๏ธ

I use 123guestbook, but in hindsight I'm uncomfortable with how it logs IPs even when I turn off that option :( I was thinking of moving to a different one and saving the messages I already have, are there any decent alternatives?

Damn!!! I don't plan on deleting my current one but it seems so many options either do that or require Discord for a webhook + a Google account if you're a subscriber (I'm not anymore).

I think there is an HTML Comment box widget you can get for free, but idk if it logs IPs

I know about that, but it's for subscribers only now since Neocities' security changed :( I might keep up 123guestbook, I tend to ignore the IPs unless I'm getting sent something malicious.

Nothing new tonight besides reuploading versions of pages with relative links, I'm still having issues with VSC but I can at least view the offline .html files in browser. Just not the program's live preview for some reason.
Also please let me know if any links break.
I'm glad we found a workaround at least!!! Wish I knew what was up with the live preview... maybe you could ask the people who made the extension.
