thinking about making a separate page for my "compsci for not compsci people" articles and expanding it to include more stuff (which i will work on...) and shortcuts to each section in each article because they will probably all be really long lmao. i'm in senior classes right now learning nicher topics so it would be really cool to shed some light on them for everyone

i think i could probably convey pipelining and out-of-order execution models to someone without cs background. obviously not 100% on whether i will follow through but i am simply Thinking. would like to do a cryptography/hacking article too because i could really understand padding oracle attacks better

yes this is a feed comment because i don't want to write about it on my blog and be like "ouuhghh. i have Written about this, so i am Done". anyway i am TA'ing a DSA class so hopefully i can get more feedback on my existing article before drafting out some new ones!

Hi! I’m a language enthusiast, and I wonder if you’d like me to make a guide on Latin for your site, particularly Old and Classical Latin?

I was planning doing a guide on various old laguages, among which one for Latin, one for ancient Greek, and guides for reading and understanding older alphabets and writing systems. I also considered making guides on modern languages that i find interesting like Russian, Japanese and Mandarin. Tl;dr: I have big plans for the Language section and they DO include Latin. however, i learn them as i write about them.

So don't expect the greatest of guides. However, i will post resources I use as i work through each language. I need to get an FTP server set up so i can have a place to host the resources in, since i cant really do it on a basic Neocities account. I'll also try to teach about various conlangs amd all the linguistics involved into building one, if that sounds like something you'd enjoy.

Finding a 5100 is a bit difficult due to their moderate rarity and high demand, but you have a few options: using eBay is the easiest (but probably the most expensive), but you could also try (depending on where you live and how long you can wait) going to one of VCF's shows [ vcfed.org/wp/festivals/ ] or to Kenmer's Surplus (if you're near Pennsylvania), they're where I got most of Project Firestarter's computers.
