Last I knew Big Cartel was still a pretty chill storefront? I use Shopify, as it allows me to sell both online, through Shop and in person with the same inventory tracking.
I’ve been looking into Big Cartel & Ko-Fi, I’ve heard good things about both. Being able to track inventory in person would be a great bonus with Shopify though
Being able to list varients of products (even digital vs physical) as well as run sales/cupon codes etc is also nice. It's one of the more expensive options, but you get what you pay for.
I really liked the control that bigcartel gave me over my shop's appearance. I liken bigcartel to be like a shop in a remote area while etsy is like having a booth at a mall. If you'll be able to drive the same traffic that etsy's search function would do on your own, bigcartel is great! Otherwise, it may leave you hanging.
