im disabled and still found time to look at coding resources and while my site is very simple, it’s still made by me. like the whole point of us being here is self expression and hating the way social media is now so it sucks to see people bringing things like thievery here. it’s like we cannot express ourselves freely even here.

nothing is stopping them from just using the readily available free code too?? like theres a ton of users here who make page layouts for anyone to use!! custom tumblr themes also require almost no editing to be neocities-compatible too. using free themes like this was how i learned html, nothing is stopping ppl from just doing this and not... stealing ppls private code

and honestly its a nice thing to have comments and a way to communicate with eachother about your sites and interests, but your feed isnt a blog for u to rant about other people and to try to "cancel" users. i get it, you have a voice of your own and its good to have it heard but this is definitely not the place to be talking about those sort of issues.

this is the internet, there's gonna be all sorts of people on here and theres not much you can do about it, but just suck it up. if you're going to straight up harass them they probably won't change their point of view, they're just going to be even more against yours.
