i'm working on a web hosting service which will be quite similar to neocities except all social elements will be moved onto sites themselves. There will be custom HTML elements like FollowButton, Posts, Following and Followers which you'll be able to add to your site (or not) and style them. I'll take what's best about neocities and make it even better by giving full control of social stuff to people
