Try Arch linux burn it on a usb and try archinstall it will guide you on the installation

correction: it's cuz I had large texted enabled, still might fuck with it though
highly recommend the vscodium flatpak with the Live Server addon, has made my life way easier
been thinking about swapping to linux myself!! :0 hope ur enjoying it so far
