Hi everyone. I'm working on an 88x31 website button/banner for my site. I'm having some trouble getting it to look clear and crisp, though. Any of you have any recommendations or tips on how to make one?

If its not animated, I would save it as a .png file, not quite sure about what part you want to look clear and crisp thoo

@yourcreativeblog Basically, i'm having issues with the text "The 13th Struggle" on my banner. Everything else looks great. I'm thinking I should maybe add the text after I've downsized the image to the appropriate dimensions, rather than before since this is what caused it to get blurry in the first place. But then I'm not too sure the best method to make such small text on such a small image. Thanks for your reply!

Neat site man. Was looking at your retro GUI page... I of course use the Classic themes on my Windows 7 machine, and my XP ones as well. I have been using Chicago95 on Debian for some time, but I had no idea there were install scripts for it. I've been using Moonscape on Pale Moon for years now. I think Moonscape also works on the MyPal browser which is, in my opinion, the best for XP. Anyway... great site

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it. I took some inspiration from your website, namely the Guestbook with HTML Comments Box. MyPal is a fork of Pale Moon actually. I was inspired to create the guide because Chicago95 had just launched their Python install script, which made installing it much easier. Just trying to give people a fuller view of Web 1.0 here on Neocities, more than just the HTML websites themselves.

Programmed a new "Welcome" page which leads to the main page :) Took me a bit to get it centered but it's working now! I'm feeling really good about it.

i'm sorry to hear that... i came out of a 4 year relationship back in late may and i'm still in the process of recovering from how much things really began to sting towards the end of our relationship (it's a very long story)... hope you'll be able to heal soon, wishing you nothing but the best from here on out!

yeah, it looks like he just pulled the source code straight from Steam's front page and slapped it here. I tried looking through the Javascript code (by right clicking and selecting the option to inspect the page's source code directly, not simply "inspect element"), but I couldn't find anything that took the data from the login field and put it into a file for storage. However, I would be very wary of this site.

The site is quickly becoming more and more polished! Going to try adding more and more content to keep things fresh until I get right to a good point. Have some old blog posts that I want to throw up on there, and hopefully I'll be able to get the navigator bar on every page soon.

This is a pretty neat website! One thing I would recommend is that you set up an itch.io page for the game you're working on. It's a game hosting platform for indie developers, it allows you to set up your game page however, and it lets you configure all sorts of things, including a comment section, or analytics regarding your games, or what have you.
