bahaha yeah i mean i added demigirl/cassgirl recently, its more just funny booboo the fool that my characters end up having my traits before i realize it, and if i had a quarter for each time it happened i’d have a whole jar

I'm not planning to leave, but for general info: are there any similar hosts (not GitHub or similarly huge) with the option of in-browser file management and editing and custom domain support OTHER than Nekoweb? Their insistence on how cute and wholesome they are makes me uncomfortable, I despise Discord, and I don't like their siteboxes or editor.

I don't reliably have access to any workflow software other than a web browser, and also don't want to overcomplicate things -- I'm not running a command line every time I want to add one image to an OC page. Self-hosting isn't viable because I don't have a system I can keep always on and online to be the server conduit. (From my understanding I'd need one.)

afaik there arent any more near neocities clones out there. leprd.space is a free dynamic host i use, uses cpanel, but theyre currently not accepting new accounts last time i checked, you can keep an eye out. nearlyfreespeech is one that costs each month but its pay what you use; i *presume* it has cpanel but you need to check. lastly theres this thing similar to github ran by this single Lithuanian woman --

at https://git.ari.lt/ari.lt/docs/src/branch/main/docs/pages.md you need to contact her for accour & custom domain but she seems pretty nice and there are some users besides herself on there but if its something really similar to neocities, afaik nekoweb is the most similar. why are you looking for another hosting site anyways?

I'm not, at present, but I'd like to have a backup plan in the event that there's some problem with Neocities requiring me to leave. I do have a Nekoweb under the same username, but as discussed, I don't like their general community vibes or layout.
