I have now found that Firefox and friends will hyphenate pages only if both the language are set in the tag and the strange -moz-hyphens and -webkit-hyphens are set to auto. I am unsure if this is less or more obscure than the wrapper code I wrote around libhyphen.

Taketwo: I've got the tools to do that. I'm currently renting a domain from godaddy.com, which provides an API to create sub-domains. I've got a VPS connected to that domain. However, somebody else has already done this project. https://tilde.institute/stats All they're missing is a pretty interface.

New and Improved: the singular dependency, `libhyphen', is included in-tree. The build path is now compiled in to the program without manual intervention. Compiling on Windows is as simple as installing a compiler, a shell, and then running `make win/hyp.exe'.

I went looking for web sites which use `text-align: justify', however the lack of consistent hyphenation seems to have caused aversion from it. Since this is a chicken-and-egg problem, a web page I have written with justification in mind is provided in the `demo' directory, before and after hyphenation.

I did some googling on your router. https://help.comporium.com/s/article/How-Do-I-Update-the-WIFI-settings-for-my-Technicolor-CGA4236-modem "Using a device that is currently connected to your modem, open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar. The modem login screen should load, prompting you to enter the username and password."

"To log in, use the username and password printed on the label attached to the modem." These steps are very similar to any home router.

There's a web site which may have instructions for your exact router model: https://portforward.com/technicolor/. If you have trouble navigating the interface, look for your router model there, if it is among those, read the instructions provided.

File names are now in a single-width typeface. I noticed and corrected a couple spelling and sentence structure mistakes. My laptop is now 12 years old, not 11. Spleen is my personal choice of fixed-width replacement for acme's Pellucida Mono.

I noticed you figured out port forwarding: congratulations! You may be in want of a domain name next. There's a company called 'DNSExit' that provides free subdomains that'll point towards your IP Address. I use them for my own self-hosted server, at https://kaa.run.place. See http://dnsexit.com/domains/free-second-level-domains/.

Even for purely personal use, it's a lot nicer to type "ssh kaa@kaa.run.place" than "ssh kaa@111.230.7.254", or likewise, "ssh arandomuser@arandomsite.work.gd" instead of "ssh arandomuser@209.25.140.180".

i used playit.gg so it wont accept 209.25.140.180:7007 because its not an ipv4 domain so i will try thru the xfinity app

Routers are generally designed to be accessed from a dedicated local IP address first and foremost. Visiting that address in a browser often provides a login prompt.

Some default to 192.168.1.1, others 192.168.1.254, some at 10.0.0.1, and surely some deault to IP addresses that I don't know of.

@kaa ik what my router ip is, i once logged in to my router and tried to port forward but the port forwarding had to be done on the xfinity website. my problem is that i cant make a xfinity account because of this error: "This information doesn't match our records"

wg2k, there are two ways to do port forwarding on an xfinity router. One of them requires the app, the other requires visiting the router's local IP address. kaa, i cant make xfinity id and i cant login to my router anymore. i tried resetting it so i could login TWICE, but it still wont work. playit.gg seems to be my best option for self-hosting stuff until i get a new router
