AY anyone know how to make an element hidden on mobile? I want the personal site button on my idex page to disappear on mobile (bc personal site does not work on mobile xP) and currently im using display:none; but its not working on mobile??? but it works if u shrink ur pc browser??

I think >> @media only screen and (max-width: X) { .div { display: block;} } << could work, where X is the max width of a mobile display (I think 768px works well?) should be good.

maybe try visibility:hidden in addition to the display:none? thats what worked for doing the same thing on one of my sites

You need to add the meta tag to your head: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Mobile/Viewport_meta_tag (I can't post it here, it gets scrubbed from the comment, sorry ._.)

i can't see changes to css on any of my browsers anymore when reloading the page so idk if i can work on this website anymore :'D might be the end of having fun with websites for me. damn browsers for wanting to make pages load faster and making it impossible to not cache css

i think that happened to me once, and i ended up having to make a new stylesheet and copy pasting the contents of the old one in there (and rerouting all the pages to the new one ofc). before that u can try pressing f5 to refresh the page while clearing the cache (at least that's how it is for me on firefox, might be different on chromium)? i'm srry this happened to u tho, it's rlly frustrating :/

it happened to me before on chrome so i moved to microsoft edge for seeing changes to my css and it workled for a good two years but suddenly its stopped working :'D Hopefully I can get it sorted

if you go in chrome history settings and clear your cache it might work? also viewing in an incognito window

Late, but I always Ctrl+Shift+R when refreshing (both Vivaldi [Chrome] and Firefox) — it refreshes and automatically clears the cache!

I find the roleplaying communities that are on twitter tend to attract some very toxic people. Don't know much about what goes on in discord, but the fandom I was in got so bad that it's put me off any kind of chat-style/short message rp. Writing fan fiction in my favourite fandoms and running a site is much better for my mental health. People will use just about any excuse to bully someone else and it's worse when

I remember you spoke of your own experiences!! It’s really unfortunate and disturbing... we used to be friends, it makes me sad. Oh, well, at least I’ve figured out a way to get out of this mess and things are looking up! (dreamwidth and longer, prose-style rp is much more my style anyway.)
