Ludum Dare 41 is starting in a few hours. Expect a postmortem once I get some sleep after all of this is done. Welp, time to lock myself in a room for 48 hours. You won't hear from me for at least 2 days.

They're all chiptune but I would recommend you listen to "8-Bit of Happiness" first as it's the newest/best one so far.

Okay so there's currently another game jam that I'm joining called https://itch.io/jam/crypto, and for now I'm holding off on the post mortem for GameBall 3000 and the short Unity text tutorials to work on my entry for this jam. Don't worry I won't forget the theme this time around. ;)

Thanks dotcomboom! And also I know I said the game would be released on the 29th but I realized that the game jam I entered had a required theme and umm... well lets just say I'm an idiot. But I'm still going to be making that post-mortem and updating the landing page to look more "professional" and I have some plans to make a few text tutorials on Unity in the future as I came across WAY too many problems(1/2)

(2/2)during development that I had to bang my head on for hours on end just to get the game working. So, to make sure no one else has to go through my suffering again and reinvent the wheel, I'm going to be posting these tutorials probably, a few days after the post mortem so looking forward to that!

I'm looking forward to that as well, good job on the game! I've tried using Unity on occasion but I couldn't ever figure it out ;_;

so far I've only played the demo. For a first game, it's a really nice game! But when I gathered all the keys - out of time - nothing happened. It would have been nice if there was some sort of "congratulations!" or something. Nice music. Sounds might be a nice idea, but it's not an requirement. Good game! ☻♥

Sorry Joppie! The demo was unfinished... But the full game does have a really quick sarcastic "Congratulations! you beat some evil emperor or something" screen as well, the game isn't exactly an epic journey :P

Okay NOW you can download the build. It took way too long but the demo is finally finished. Also, don't take the word DEMO the wrong way, the finished game isn't going to be much longer than the current one and will obviously also be free.
