in this update, i expanded the size of my main content container so i could fit more stuff on my pages! i moved the changelog into its own section, added a 'my status' section, and also put a 'made with love' credit line on each page. am planning on adding a wishlist section to my fragrance page as well :3

am i misunderstanding something? people are... paying to use css on carrd? it's supposed to be an easier builder, and doing the more difficult coding yourself is a paid feature??? i get that's more customizable, but it seems backwards. and people??? PAY???

i put my website URL in my discord bio, and my abusive ex i guess saw it and saw the blog post i made about how well i've been doing, and he called me awful names. i feel unsafe, i removed the link from my discord bio. i just want a space on the internet where i feel comfortable and safe. i hate him so much. :-(

A general query, so anyone may answer... but when you click on a website on here or elsewhere else on the personal web, do you prefer to see a "pre-home" page of sorts saying what the site does or doesn't contain or do you prefer just getting straight to the website? asking more for curiosity's sake, i suppose :3

I don't really like a pre-home because it feels... antiquated, style-wise. It makes me feel like the webmaster has a certain view of the web1.0 style that I don't really vibe with. But if you care a lot about your thumbnail, you kinda need one.

i think it depends for me! i think they're really fun and helpful but sometimes i feel like they give a first impression of a site that is different from the rest of the site, if that makes sense. i removed mine because i didn't like that my pre-home page was a new visitor's first impression instead of my homepage, which i thought was a better representation of me as a webmaster. that's just my subjective view tho!!

i appreciate it if theres actually something on the site that requires a warning (flashing lights, mature topics etc) but when its there for no apparent reason im not a fan

It only really matters to me if the person puts something important in their (Like if the website contains flashing lights or heavy usage of gifs or what not) since it's pretty important to establish those things. Otherwise I do just enjoy being able to see the home page immedieately.

i distinctly remember finding your site before but im not sure what happened, i love the surreal and straight-out-of-a-dream feel to it! you have really great taste in music btw (<3 slowdive <3) and we've got shared interests in media genres too!!! cant wait to see how your site evolves
