I have opened up a Zazzle shop! I'd just like the art hobby to pay it's way, a bit, so that I can use it to buy art materials and a few extras that I might need occasionally. The budget watercolour paper I've got is not good for wet on wet... I had a feeling that would be the case, but it is better to find these things out for yourself than relying on the reviews of others because sometimes people are over critical of things if they are inexpensive. It is, however, OK for wet on dry watercolours, but I wouldn't use it for commissioned work or art where the original is to be sold.

I have some cheap fineliners that have the potential to be refillable because you can screw the tip off them. Unfortunately you can't get refills for them. I'll have to see if gel pen refills will fit the pen, but it is annoying. If plastic waste is to be reduced then pens ought to be refillable. (Though I can imagine some of the premium pen companies like Copic hating the concept...) I hate having to throw out ,

And of course, if they wanted a new weapons system for the high level characters over level 100, why not just create a new system for that instead of messing up the one that was there that now makes it impossible for mid-level players to advance?

You need a legendary weapon to gain access to Moria. Problem: You can't obtain a legendary weapon to access Moria until you've accessed Moria, thanks to the new system. WTF? Great way to bollocks the game up, folks...

We had an awful snow storm in the night, with lots of wind. It put Max on edge. (Border collies tend to hate windy weather anyway.) I suspect that we have another 'Beast from the East' scenario. Climate change is the gift that keeps on giving.

It's this Black Friday problem that is one: causing a lot of waste for the environment, putting a lot of people into unnecessary debt and contributing to the development of hoarding disorders. You also don't have to buy everyone presents for Christmas, either. In some places it has become customary for parents to buy all the children in their kids' class(es) a present and it's quite embarrassing on so many levels.

Not everyone can afford to reciprocate. Family members of the child struggle to find something the child doesn't already own and quite frankly, do children really need all this stuff?

Stop blaming your shit upbringing of boys on things other than yourselves. (And the same goes for women, too...) It's pathetic, really.

The majority of the men who are criminals in my area are ones that have had a long history of criminal behaviour in their family, so it is /most/ likely that family has more of an influence on people's behaviour than fictional characters. It's just yet another attempt to pass the blame on to something else than it is to own up to where the fault really lies.

I have quite a number of sketch books that need filling. I bought a pack of 10 from Hobbycraft a few months ago and I might give the ones that I've not drawn in yet a theme/subject. I hope to do some art throughout December, as I've not been doing a lot since I started doing the course - not had time, really, and there is a lot that I'd like to do. I felt quite bad about my deviant art account a few days ago, but looked at it today and found that people have been liking some of my pieces. Not many, but it is nice... After next week, I shall some free time because the course I am currently doing will have ended.

Oh, one other thing. Young people have always been concerned about political issues like the environment, racism, etc... It's not a new thing. But when you get older, your concerns change. You might even change the way you view things because of experiences you have. You might even get some of the idealism that you had when you are young eroded because you become disappointed with how the world is. I doubt that the

One of the biggest changes in attitude that I had was after I lost my mum. Before that, I thought that animal rights and environmental issues were the most important! things! ever! It still was a concern to me, but it just didn't seem as urgent, or as big as it was before. You have to put more of your energy into coping and finding ways of compensating for what you have just lost, so the concern has shifted.

Your health also changes what you can do too. Political issues can get you angry (and rightly so), but that anger is also stressful so if you develop an illness when you get older, it places a burden on your health so you are forced to become less involved in things.
