My dog has been limping and won’t jump normal heights since yesterday afternoon. I need to take her to the vet but I’m flat broke until payday August 4th. If you’re willing and able to help donate towards the vet visit it would be greatly appreciated. It’s $85 just to get in the door. sorry i wasn't able to send more, but sent you some! also, you can try to request that they bill you for all services, which would allow them to charge you later for services rendered now. $85 might just be the exam fee, but it can be billed instead of charged immediately. let them know your situation. if you explain the situation, most vets will want to help the animals!

XANDRA - thank you SO much! I’m taking her to the emergency vet. They require exam fee to be seen, everything else can be billed. I appreciate the thoughtful reply and boost to get on the exam room infinitely!

i agree with xandra! ask them to bill you out or if they offer any kind of payment plans! if you explain your struggle, most offices nowadays are more willing to help.

Thanks guys! She goes in early early tomorrow morning, based on what I told the vet they don't think it's an immediate need but a sooner-than-later need. As of right now, based on my conversation with the emergency vet (who is my usual family vet but at a different location for the time being, lucky me), she thinks it's either a sprain, pulled muscle/tendon, or issue with her nails or quick in the nails.

Based on everything my vet told me and what I'm able to see, it appears most likely to be an issue with one of her rea toe nails and the quick in it. Everything adds up. If that's it, rest and pain meds is all that should be needed. Fingers crossed!

Basically, Tumblr is rolling out a Dashboard change that makes the site look like a twitter clone. No one is liking it & while we still have the chance to bully staff into not making it perminent, people are already considering jumping ship

Also @stormeko same here 🥲 it sucks because even when I left the first time I missed a lot of tumblr's functionality so seeing them deadset on removing it (and not fixing actual issues) blows

Absolutely agree; I was burnt out on social media-fication of platforms like.. two years ago, now whenever a platform copies the (bad) design changes made to other sites I just feel the urge to fully give up on it, lol

God I relate to this feeling. I'm so tired of corpo internet and social media sites constantly trying to mimic the "trendiest" features while ignoring literally everything the userbase(s) actually wants and/or needs.

baroque for sega saturn is translated! this is so cool i really wanted to play this game but the psx port is awful. english speakers only liked it because they didn't know about the saturn port
