part of me is a little nervous re: my site rework, it's significantly more simplistic compared to the old site :S at the same time though im approaching it w the intent of making it as clear and least-sghetti code as i can muster which is always a good thing

i WILL say im very excited with working on the new iteration of my site. it's rebuilt from the ground up with more streamlined, organized code to make changes down the line less daunting :) especially in regards to style sheets, because the ones I had before were. a mess lmao

likewise from the get go, the new website im working on is built with accessibility in mind - semantic HTML, portrait/landscape options, and said streamlined CSS. it's an integral part of the site rather than a cobbled together afterthought to maybe attract some mobile users

ftr - i do plan on updating the site. im actually working on a total overhaul! that being said though, i am letting go of the fatgrrlz handle. i've been sitting on it for a long time but ive realized it is no longer something i want to use as my username. obv im not changing my schtick, im still drawing fat girls, i just wont. be fatgrrlz

as such. i am now using the username mothsbee! it's something a little more personal to me and i think it works more as a general handle. the website will be updated to reflect with new graphics and shit. all F2U graphics will stay put however so hopefully it'll be a little bit of a mess instead of a lot lolol :)

i have also made the grave mistake of playing destiny again. i still intend on getting the fatshion page to a substantiable enough state to share. its a bit ambitious (I wanted to make a bit where i talk about my wardrobe and some articles of clothing i really like...)

i am also just not really much of a fan of april fools jokes as i get older. some are funny but most of the time i feel like they tend to be at the expense of others :( i will give a shoutout to my friends' discord server turning it into a homoerotic realtor mess though. that is funny.

it's also horrifying seeing how fast time flies. this is a year and a half old now... ive barely drawn since... ever since ive become a "real adult" with a "real job" and shit it feels like im suffocating art-wise. desperately wish i could draw more. desperately wish i didn't stress as much. can't believe this project's making me nostalgic for working 16 hr shifts doing helpdesk at a hospital being paid peanuts :(

bah. i shouldn't beat myself up too bad over it. shit happens and i had a lot of big life milestones last year, even if it meant sacrificing time away from art. definitely think i wanna go through with archiving my other VanguardVogue art I happen to have. I don't have everything (RIP the CSP painted arts whose source files have been lost to time) but i still have a bunch of stuff on my iPad
