In spite of it being the less popular console, I've actually owned a 7800 but never a 2600. I didn't use it heaps because I struggled to get good video quality out of it but it really fascinated me as a console. I think Asteroids and Xenophobe were the only 7800 games I had, but I had a few backwards compatible 2600 games too.

I am very unfamiliar with the 7800, which makes having one somewhat exciting! It probably will get used more for 2600 stuff in the end, but I have a couple homebrews on the way from Atari Age.

The Bit Trip games were given a lot of attention and were well received when they originally released on the Wii. I've played a couple a long time ago and they were fun!

@napreviewz I think those are probably the stars of what I picked up, but I am not sure which to start with. I need to just look up a play order list and buzz through them.

personally, i recommend starting with bit trip beat if possible, it's the first one released so it might make the most sense to go through them in chronological order
Awww sushi sounds nice! That sounds like an ideal xmas celebration to me ^^
@cherrycloud It was great! My family is very food centered, so we're doing brunch and then an appetizers-style dinner for the bigger celebration this weekend. I am very excited for that, too!
