I love mother 1/earthbound beginnings but I'd be lying if a big part of that wasn't the surreal and somewhat melancholy atmosphere. it can be a pain with the wonky difficulty and clunkier gameplay so I get why a lot don't love it as much as 2 or 3, but I'm really fond of 1 especially

@radpage I’ve never played anything in the series, so I’m just rolling with it right now. Getting wrecked early on is par for the course in an NES rpg, so I’m not bothered by it!

I've been doing some playing around with system specific pages today. Eventually, I'd like to do this for every console, but it seemed good to start small.
