@macaque it was an issue with the Duckduckgo Private Browser app back in 2022 (see https://www.pcmag.com/news/duckduckgos-browser-wont-block-microsofts-trackers)

piggybacking. ive used duckduckgo for many years now. the more you use it the better you understand how to search for stuff. i will say that i feel the search results are better than google if you are looking for a more diverse result. google tends to show you the same hits multiple times.
