I found femtanyl back a few months ago and have also really liked them, saw them on your music article. Do you know anyone similar? I tried out the few others you listed in the section but it didn't hit the same.

I'm not too deep into the genre but milkypossum and FEM&M have a similar sound. femtanyl is pretty peak tho

It didn't push up a new update, but I decided to take my camera out yesterday, uploaded a few pictures. I also uploaded a few photos that I took during my 5 day solo backpacking trip to Colorado I took last summer, don't think I ever mentioned it on here. I may end up posting more photos from it.

Forgot I took woodcock pics, uploaded one. Basically all of them turned out poor because it was pitch black outside as that's when they choose to do their mating rituals and show themselves.

Where did you find the Yosemite artworks plus the few scrolling pictures? The scrolling pictures especially have a wonderful aesthetic.

Hello! I found the Yosemite artwork on Pinterest by looking up things like national park postcards and Yosemite postcards, all those scrolling pictures were also found there. On my old blog, I did have to do work erasing what ever white background they may have had to make them transparent. As I said, all found on Pinterest! *<@:-0D

Thanks so much! Your site was actually a source of inspo for me as I was building out the iterations of my current site. I've never seen an aesthetic like yours before - it's super unique! Oooh that's tough - I think Empire Ants takes the cake but Broken is a close second.

I updated the site last night so that my update posts have proper thumbnails and redirect to the right pages (thanks to TabF5 for the heads up and hydromecha for a solution!) so those should look better now. Also woohoo 10,000 views!

Hey man! I noticed all your pages look blank and unstyled in your feed posts whenever you update them, since it's all built on iframes. If you ever wanted to set nicer thumbnails for them, I recommend this custom thumbnail trick I found recently: https://control-neocities-thumbnail.neocities.org/

You can have a page that's only supposed to be in an iframe run some JS to detect if it isn't and then redirect to another page. I do something similar for my own site but the basic gist is: if(window.self == window.top) { document.location.href = '[LINK TO PAGE HERE]'; } This will also change the thumbnail to whatever the redirected page is.

This might be a bit tricky to test offline (this largely depends on how you're linking stuff) unless you can run your site as a local server. I use the method described here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/27986564

Ok I think I've got it figured out (thank you hydromecha!) I added a script at the top of every iframe that checks whether or not the link has "embedded=true", and if it doesn't, it redirects to the iframe version of the page. Then I changed my iframe loader script to fetch every page with "embedded=true" as a marker that it was opened via fetch instead of standalone.
