I've no problem with them selling the same stamps as Amazon, but sell them as a set like they are supposed to be and at their proper value.

Finished Candle and Crow today. It was good, but I'm disappointed that it is the last in the Ink and Sigal/Iron Druid series - I feel like we were just getting to know the characters and that there is more that could have been written in that universe.

I have always found the Christmas sales marketing strategies to be bizarre where giving money to charity is concerned: you have Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday. By the time Giving Tuesday comes around, most people would have been spent up and probably not even on gifts for people, but for stuff for themselves.

One other thing is I don't like having furniture in the middle of the room if I can help it. I rather have everything against a wall. Technically, I could keep the dvds and get a large bookcase type thing for them, but that would mean the sofa has to go into the middle of the floor, and when you do that it becomes a pain to vacuum around. I've decided that the DVD collection is going to get a culling. We just don't have the room to display/organize these things properly. There are quite a number that I am meh about.... Some of them don't play well (I'm looking at you, Star Trek DVDs), and I pretty much like my books more. So off ye go in the New Year after I've bought a couple of organizers. I've got room for and the rest will be gone. It wasn't an easy thing to do before we moved last year because I wasn't sure what I wanted, and what I didn't even though we were short on space.

The library does have a lot of Winston Graham books, but I'm not sure if I want to read them next year as there are a lot I want to look at already, but it is nice to have a list of what the library has at any rate, so that I can decide later when there is less for me to get through. Maybe audible has some? I already have the Poldark novels.

Elrond and Galadriel make several trips between Lindon and Ereigon, but only one on trip do they encounter the Barrow Downs? I can see how people think it's bad. I think I could forgive the errors in the timeline, and poetic licensing with OCs, and changes to characters, as that happens with most adaptations but the lack of knowledge of the terrain, unexplained plot holes (like Isildur being captured by spiders and

The implausible journey length times also stand out quite badly, too. It takes Bilbo, Thorin and the Dwarves, and the Fellowship months to travel to Erebor, and cross Middle-Earth to Gondor, so the quick journey times (especially from Númenor to Mordor in the first series), is just plain silly. Maybe it's the short number of episodes, bad editing or lack of time stamps (time stamps are very useful for epic stories)

The makers of the Rings of Power do realize that Galadriel is the grandmother of Elrond's kids, right? So why ship them? That's just plain wrong.

It's quite mixed, over all, but it gets brownie points for Tom Bombadil, since all other adaptations aside from LOTRO cut him out of the narrative.
