My dodge truck is street legal again. I drove it to work today. Still not completely finished yet

Fuses blew about a month after the truck was wrecked. It didn't like sitting and the battery started going dead. When the radio quit working was when the truck started to run bad and was smoking bad until it wouldn't even run. The transmission stopped shifting out of park and all things electrical went haywire.

The closer i got to getting it driveable the better it started acting. When i drove it on the street it started acting right.

cool site! I like reading stories. I like your straightforward and easy to use website design layout. Unfortunately when i press a link on the menu, the page keeps loading in the small menu box instead of changing the whole page.

Damn! I'm sorry. I don't know what to do about that. I use a MacBook Air and it works fine, but that's no help to you. I'll try it in Windows and see what happens. Thank you for letting me know.

Good luck with your Dell. I'm still using an old Dimension 4500S that my father gave me in 2006 as a secondary PC, which now runs FreeBSD 11. I really enjoy refurbishing old computers and installing various BSDs to them.

Thats cool that you are still using a dimension. I used to have a dimension i liked but the caps were going bad, i replaced a few but the motherboard ended up dieing in 2019 i think. I have never used freebsd i should try that on my dell.

Indeed. A lot of the remaining ones were hosted on free servers or on ISP accounts. Free servers are closing, & ISPs are getting rid of their hosting services. A few old sites are or were hidden deep within major websites, but companies are auditing their service, to make sure they meet new privacy regulations, accessibility regulations, etc, so those are going away too. At least that's my thypothesis.

Is the Dakota drivable? Also, can it be insured after your insurer's declaration?

It has a salvage title at the moment. It is driveable again but not currently street legal yet. I am slowly rebuilding it and plan on driving it sometime later this year. I have to mail in paperwork inorder to get a rebuilt title. The frame has been fixed and dents have been beat out and filled in already. It still needs painted and a few other things.

Once i get the truck street legal i don't think i will have any problem with insurance. I think I still have insurance on it. I should probably cancel it for now.

Thanks. I will put all new tires on the corolla sometime before winter. I have a few spare tires i am going to use until then.
