I felt quite bad about my deviant art account a few days ago, but looked at it today and found that people have been liking some of my pieces. Not many, but it is nice... After next week, I shall some free time because the course I am currently doing will have ended.

Oh, one other thing. Young people have always been concerned about political issues like the environment, racism, etc... It's not a new thing. But when you get older, your concerns change. You might even change the way you view things because of experiences you have. You might even get some of the idealism that you had when you are young eroded because you become disappointed with how the world is. I doubt that the

One of the biggest changes in attitude that I had was after I lost my mum. Before that, I thought that animal rights and environmental issues were the most important! things! ever! It still was a concern to me, but it just didn't seem as urgent, or as big as it was before. You have to put more of your energy into coping and finding ways of compensating for what you have just lost, so the concern has shifted.

Your health also changes what you can do too. Political issues can get you angry (and rightly so), but that anger is also stressful so if you develop an illness when you get older, it places a burden on your health so you are forced to become less involved in things.

It is apparent that when I paint with watercolours, I need guidelines to know where the paint should go... Perhaps I can fix it when it's dried with a bit of smudge-proof fine-liner.

Why is it these days you must argue with companies when they have not fulfilled their obligations to you to get the service that you are due? Last year it happened with a gardening company, this year it has happened multiple times with a catalogue company, it has happened with two different magazine titles and now a subscription box company. Does anyone on here get Scrawlrbox and have you had your dispatch e-mail for this month? I signed up in October and didn't get the October box so the first one should be for November. I've not heard from them.

Ok, this new laptop has got to be one of the worst computers I've ever had. There isn't enough storage on it for anything, and I've hardly saved any files on it. How can they get away with selling such a rubbish machine?

One thing I've noticed since getting this computer because it's a smaller screen than the other is the amount of space websites waste through huge banners at the top of the page, huge spaces between site elements and huge pictures and writing so much so that you can't actually see it on the page or have the webpage functional. These designers really need to go back to design school.

I think finally, when it is far too late to do anything about it that nature and the environment is being taken seriously. It's so sad. The reason why I say this is because the Open University have a separate category for Nature and Environmental subjects from science which it used to be a part of. There are a number of free courses that people can study on their website. What is /also/ a shame is that the work

people put into studying courses like these (and the same applies to Coursea) is that with them being 'free' you don't get a qualification from it, so therefore you don't get recognition for studying things at a university level. Sure, it's OK for personal interest, and a study aid for those wanting to study the subject professionally, but I find it profoundly sad that money is used as a barrier to prevent people's

I've not really made any buttons for the site for a long while because I was sharing my old computer and haven't really got around to making any on the new computer. Only had it a couple of weeks and there are lots of things I need to catch up on.

A lot of people wish that they had tons of money so that they can have a luxurious life style - I wish that was the case for me so that I could study all the various subjects that I am interested in so that I wouldn't have to rely on sites like coursea.

I have resumed study for the courses on Egyptology on coursera. I took a break from them over the summer because the temperature was really affecting my ability to concentrate and having a new computer is helping too, because I can now fly through the work a lot better. It is an amazingly rich culture and I don't think that the course does it justice because there is a rich history there in many aspects.

Oh boy, I find it quite ironic when a museum that has a huge collection of artefacts from an ancient civilisation famous for its writing cannot get grammar and spelling right or consistent on it webpage that's about some of said artefacts.
