It's amazing to me that, despite being AI generated, creatives can generate such wildly different works with Midjourney, Dall-e, etc. I really think we might be on the brink of what a lot of famous artists did, but freely and accessible - which is to have an idea and dictate the workflow and creation of it to a team to do the actual work (instead of a team, tho, we've got AI).

Thanks man! I went scrolling on your site checking out all your AI art, and I kept thinking I should give it a try, loved the stuff you posted. As for the art, and it being AI, I agree with what you say, AI tech is only getting better, almost scary accurate at times, but at this time, I see a lot of flaws - but this is good. art is no way perfect, and art should be flawed.

the reason why AI tech is getting better is because it steals from actual artists, i dont want to be an ass but it is taking actual pieces w out permission

Oh it is 100% against everything I think as someone who spends HOURS on a square inch of my pieces with pent/paint/ink, but as someone who was raised on the first computers and videogame consoles, it is wild and interesting to see and dabble. There's definitely a lot of "borrowin" AI does, but I mean it's learning from everything before it, so obviously.

@scenequeen That's pretty much what all AI does, for instance AI chat, they learn from gathering data from the likes of reddit, facebook, twitter etc. I'm not saying I condone the stealing of artwork, but to me, for an AI to process by keywords, without scouring the net, and create something on it's own would take a hell of a lot of processing power, more than it already does.

Infact, I really dislike art theft, I've had mine stolen a few times, and it was hell trying to get them taken down.

@scenequeen There are none, not from what i've seen, that was my point really, If we were to have an AI engine capable of creating art on it's own, it would need immense processing power. Something that doesn't seem plausible as of right now.

how do u guys get motivation to finish updates for your sites ,,help. i have so many page layouts drawn in my sketchbook and so many wip pages forever frozen in time and everytime i open em up to update them my mind goes blank, and all i feel like doing anymore is updating the view count.. i really love coding and neocities and this little corner of the web in general but idk.. (1/??)

i feel like im on a hiatus i never really announced and i just like. i have so much motivation to update and redesign now, im on adhd meds, i have plenty of free time cuz all my work is done. but i never have the drive to do it.. like at 3am where you get tons of ideas but cant do anything cuz youre tired. so uhrhh yeah thats why ive been doing literally nothing with my site sorry

will i ever come back in full swing like ye olden days where i updated my site 8 times a day with new graphics n pages and stuff? no probably not.. but i'll definitely try to find the drive for it. i want to at least finish the halloween yesterweb page and change the landing page to my hotel design but its a long way until then.. ily guys i will just be lurking for now <3
