UPDATE 20240820::: Our Alpha Grid is now open. Beta Hyperport is currently restricted to Administrators as we prepare for reopening towardthe end of the month. We arecurrently working on User Interface and Grid Security
UPDATE 20240819::: We have updated the Beta Hyperport Simulators to Version 1.5.46.1 and the Simulators are now completely local here onsite at neocities! Ready Player Me avatars are now fully supported.
REMINDER: We are having our weekly Grid Meeting TODAY at the Beta Hyperport Welcome Region at 4 PM PDT. This is a public event, no account is required, all are welcome to attend. UPDATE 20240817::: We have added several new regions on the Alpha Grid Mainland! Alpha Grid logins are currently restricted to Administrators, but anybody can still visit the Beta Hyperport. Alpha Grid Mainland will be opening to new Residents in Early September. Stay tuned for more updates; we will post them here as they become available.
Update 20240815::: Viewer rebuild in progress. Rebuild is expected to be complete by 8PM PDT tonight. No performance degradation are expected at this time.

We are planning on migrating the Welcome Center to a dedicated Region and replacing the index with a more secure and suitable landing point for Residents, Guests and Visitors. Migration is expected to be fulfilled by End of Week

We are developing a new Learning Island for new Residents. Learning Island will orient new Residents and provide custom onboarding assets and self-paced training and experiences. Learning Island will be replacing the Welcome Center as the first stop. We are expecting Learning Island to be completed and deployed by Saturday.

We will be hosting our weekly grid meeting on the second floor of the Littlebird Metaverse Welcome Center(https://littlebirdmetaverse.neocities.org). The meeting will start on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 4:00 PM Grid Time(PDT) and will run roughly an hour. Tester1 Littlebird will be hosting this weeks meeting.
UPDATE 20240809::: Littlebird Maintenance Team will be in-world today to investigate several issue reported over the last week. we are looking for content creators, so if you are reading this post and are interested in volunteering, reply to the message. we know it's a new platform and documentation is still scarce, but we do provide in-world training, both here and via the opensimulator project. Some of our players are reporting performace hits in the welcome center region. We're looking into the issue
update 20240807::: Players now rez in at their last stored region, position, and rotation. Improved atmospheric and ambient lighting rendering. Added 40 new premiere skies!
update 20240807::: portals in the welcome center are now functional. We are aware that navigation to locations outside of the grid are breaking the physics and UI, and we have scheduled some maintenance activities this week to investigate these issues. Residents are advised to refresh the viewer page if things get weird.
