they started unfollowing everyone who supported their project in an attempt to get their site a higher chance of being on the top sites list, but a lot of people think that’s kind of a crappy move lol

im pretty sure it started with a poll last night asking if people would stop supporting the project if they were blocked and removed without warning, and then sort of snowballed from there with debates on how the project was being run - i decided to unfollow and stop supporting since it was blowing up my activity feed with a whole bunch of negativity and fighting.

it’s very corporate of them to be more concerned with popularity and views than with uplifting people. you can go onto their page and see that there’s a hell of a lot of conflicting opinions but most people agree that there wasn’t much of a point

there was also questionable moves earlier like makoenergy said, about unfollowing everyone, and people already questioning the project and how its run, so i think this kind of thing was coming. shame though, i really liked the concept and will probably just keep the site itself bookmarked to look through sites

Asked Daria to fix my website and she gave me a whole essay of how my CSS colors are uninspired. Then I said that they were derived from Frutiger Aero and she called me a "pretentious tryhard" with my site being "slapped together by a middle-schooler."

RIP akira toriyama. dragonball was a huge inspiration to me and still remains one of my favorite manga. tomorrows manga panel of the week will be dedicated to him
