Tor is also a good option, you can install it in both your phone and on your computer.

Also recommended--Whonix in VirtualBox. Just gotta setup a shared folder to export downloads.

Also I cannot recommend Proton and its services enough! The only caveat is the limited free plan space, but for oldweb types, this should be manageable. I sometimes email people on here out of the blue if they've got a Proton, just to connect off-platform.

i've been running proton vpn for a while now and I can absolutely vouch, it's pretty good for a free VPN! Proton Mail is great too.

totally agree. grind culture sucks.
Of course everyone has worth, but there's a sense profound pride in accomplishing things that have meaning to you or others you care about. I do like a certain level of productivity culture as I understand it, as it drives us to better ourselves or others.
@chattable yes and im not saying thats not true, but im mostly talking about grind culture where people act as though everyone has to wake up at 5 am to aconplish their dreams or that if you dont so anything your useless. I have also seen an influx of people who feel bad somehow becuase thwy are unable to acomplish their goals, somehow feeling like they are worthless.
Its just i think online people take it bit too far, as with anything
And im mainly talking about expectations society sets up for you, not personal goals you want to achieve
