I played SC6 a few weeks ago on an FGC Friday; I actually really enjoyed the improvements to the speed and fluidity of combos as opposed to earlier titles... The character creation leaves a lot to be desired imo (unless you have to unlock stuff, idk.) I was actually able to play online, and when you get matched with someone who doesn't outright body you... IT'S SUPER FUN!!!

I'm curious, how well can you read Japanese? I assume you can, since you're playing DQX Offline ahaha. Man I want to play that.

@thegameboyabyss My own rating of my Japanese reading skills is “I am a dumb baby,” and my friends/family assessment is “god, not this again, you are not a dumb baby” so the truth is likely in the middle. More seriously, I need a dictionary to play for a few words in some text boxes, and get burned out in text heavy sections, but I can also definitely tell that my studying is paying off.

On Sonic Blast, the game gear games Sonic Chaos and Tripple Trouble are much better. I find them really charming and concise little adventures, as handheld versions of big franchises often were from that era·
@pastelshoal— I will have to try one of those, I got so angry at Sonic Blast today! I was taken in by the oddity of the prerendered graphics.
