Are you sure you want to do this?
You are well on track to meet your year-end goal for finishing RPGs (Rad Pinball Games)
@skep This is true- I'm really excited about continuing to fart around with digital pinball, though. It's the best argument I've seen so far for continuing to advance game tech- the illusion of playing a real table some of the controller rumble achieves is pretty impressive!
Huh. You mean I've been spending every penny I earn stuffing my basement to bursting with pinball machines when I could have just waited a couple more years for an equivalent experience at a fraction of the price???
@skep So, I think these are really cool fakes, but something about the ball movement/how it springs off of flippers and launchers still has an "artifical" feeling. I'm cool with that, because my first pinball experience was 2600 Video Pinball, but cool as it is, it's not a 1:1 replacement for real pinball
Maybe the best way I can think of to put it is tangible, but inaccurate.
They'll get it right some day.
I kinda like the weird specificity of how it feels wrong. Do you really collect machines, though? That's super nifty if so, while still being a good comment joke if not.
Yeah, I meant to be so exaggerative that it would be obvious I didn't own any machines, except re-reading it I realize it's the exact same joke I would have made if I did.
