I think I'm gonna have to get rid of the animated background entirely :( I just tried to load the site on my 6th gen intel work laptop and it didn't do very well - pretty sure even with the animation hidden it's still running in the background

I put the animated background on a switch since it might make the site chug on an older machine, my phone had a hard time rendering it
