"Make and don't stop." I feel that.. I have had my head buried in as much sawdust as possible these last couple weeks. My version of "line work is unprofessional" right now is various imperfections in finished projects. Some dice boxes I just made have a sliiight wobble on the lid. Nobody but me will probably ever notice, but I'm still about to lay down and lose some sleep over it haha.
@bonkyrs Imperfections like that are what I find the most interesting in woodworking!! It feels so human. Add in the wear from daily use in a piece, and it has even more humanity in it. Wobbles = beauty!!!
Make and don't stop so true! I'm not an artist but I've had similar feelings about my writing before, which I also went to college and enjoyed receiving criticism for so I feel you! I think it's important to know that whether or not something you make is good is based on how true it is to *you.* you are unique and therefore so are the things you make! <3
