@whaleandsnake swirl was a pretty big website on neocities and had a very well known look, and SO many people just straight up steal the layout. It happens all the time and I think it’s so lame.
i agree people do need to learn to code on their own, but to be fair swirl didn't own that aesthetic and her site was HEAVILY inspired by older jp websites. still sucks tho, again people are LAZY
@b0bcat i totally agree!! she def is not the only person w that aesthetic, and she doesnt own it - i just have grudges against ppl who steal code and are lazy like you said
