i come back to everyone shitting their pants about the ai thing but that post was from a year ago guys,, as long as neos isn't actively integrating ai i'm gonna stick around. lots of leaders of companies favor ai and we still use those + sometimes those companies ai policy brings more harm than it ever has here so far so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeahh, I feel like we gotta treat Neocities for what it is, just a webhost, as the community itself should be something greater that bridges between the different static web hosts. It's not a very useful posturing for me to boycott neocities when Google and Discord and other companies I unfortunately still have accounts on have flirted so much more openly with GenAI. The perfect is the enemy of the good and all that

@kunfucutsman cybersecurity! not all of the colleges i'm looking at have that option tho, so my backup is computer science. i'd like to minor in animation, spanish, or chinese. depending on where i go tho i might double major in game design and cs if possible :) (none of the unis have web design major sadly)
