language learning is always so fun! even if you can only do a small amount every day on duolingo or an SRS like anki, it really helps maintain your knowledge. maybe you can try an app or listening to japanese podcasts on your communte? :o
I'll keep that in mind! I did try anki but I got overwhelmed oof. Currently I started reading Genki, it's a slow but steady process. Will get things running eventually ^_^
Also I read your recent journal entry and I feel you, NHS wait times are a bitch <:( I have to wait 2 years for a CAMHS appointment (so when I turn 20 I'll have my assesment lmao)
i saw a mutual comment on your site so i checked it out, i absolute love the minimalism and the pseudo way back machine look. i only started with camhs after id already finished secondary school so while i value the time i got there it was very limited. i wish you luck!!! youve got this :D
I feel that, for me that’s when the art block starts to kick in
the thing is - i have SO many ideas for art and stuff. i think im just becoming demotivated cus my brain went new fandom -> new ideas -> new artists too look at -> compares self to people... i think i just need to take it slow and built my skills from the ground up again Dx
I think you need a brain break from the internet. comparing your art to others is what kills the satisfaction you get from doing art in the first place, I think.
