I'm surprised that it's been a couple of days and it still hasn't been fixed, and there isn't anywhere we can check for status updates except for the one at the bottom of the site, right?? :(

Neocities being slow on developments seems to have been a problem since 2018 -- if the issues persist I'd really recommend try using a dedicated text editor instead of the one that comes with NC (assuming you use that). Most text editors should have a live server plugin you can download, which allows you to make and preview changes to your site (even when offline, from what I've seen while using one). Still have --

good to know, this only started happening AFTER neocities went down for maintenance a bit ago, so i think thats the culprit

The new layout generator looks really cool, I like how it looks sleek but still has charm and personality, and is really easy to use. The old one still has its own charm tho', im glad that you kept it
