the internet is amazing on its own. I've very rarely paid for any thing on the internet that isn't going to someone doing me a service. i don't know where people think all the money comes from that they are making on web3 shit. it's just a big circle jerk that's got out of hand

Perhaps you're trying to "make it fun" because that's what you're "supposed to do", or because that's the box website building is supposed to fit into. Don't try. If it isn't fun atm, put it away and pursue other interests until you naturally feel yourself pulled back to it.
