to be more accurate, the lock on my box door rusted significantly to the point where neither I nor my mail people could use it. fellas it takes a few weeks to replace a mailbox lock/key so #lessonslearned take care of it sooner rather than later!

if slow people make you uncomfortable, then hold the door open behind you instead. you'll still get all the social points.

websites as a creative medium, not as a limitation of expression. if mobile responsive design was required back then, people would not have pushed back against it the way they do now trying to recapture a "retro" mindset.

people would be making different versions of their sites entirely for mobile so that you would have a different experience, depending on your device. That's very much frowned upon now but would have been the way that my little web community approached this at the time. I think about that a lot! I don't know if I have the energy to do that now 🥲

i don't think that's very wierd.. at least in my own experiences. i've never been involved but i have been "adjecent" i guess

@transferns I think my concern is that I'm bringing up something and attacking people, when really all I'm trying to do is reflect on my part in it and why it bothers me. but I think I figured out a nice way to share it without being an attack

my first draft was DEFINITELY an attack lol but I got that out and then reflected and wrote something better
