I don't see the link to your favicon in the html... Is there another way to add one that I don't know of? I usually put in the head: (with the right path to the icon in href).

i just use link rel=“icon” href=“img.png”! does it show up when you open the page kegg? it must be a browser issue of mine then. weird

It shows up for me on Firefox, but you might try putting type="image/gif" after the href="" part.
