This is gonna sound stupid but I get more mild ones every so often, and I was told by my doctor a while ago to just kinda... down a can of Coca Cola when I feel one coming on LOL. Very weird but I think it has something to do with the caffiene contents, and it's worked for me from time to time so it might be worth looking into.
i wish i had anything better to offer than caffeine+pain meds+nap/close eyes in a dark room, i feel you on the knocked out for the day thing unfortunately
I'm gonna forth on that caffeine notion. Sometimes it's withdrawal and you just have to get that shit on. I also find doing stuff that's understimulating helps, also napping.
I would not wish chronic migraines on my worst enemy. Hope someone on here has a genius remedy

Unironically ASMR videos where they mime rubbing your head/face helps me relax the muscles that exacerbate the pain help me a lot.
And I also second caffeine. I’m also liberal with my pain killer use which cannot be good for my stomach but we ride
