Is there a guide book to being a social butterfly? I'm in grave need of learning how to not stand around and be a NPC whenever I go to any kind of social events BAD
you could also try to designate a friend youre already comfortable with to kinda "feel-out" the environment and linger around. it helps me to take mental notes on the way people are interacting and then slowly include myself into the conversation :P
my method is just unholy levels of masking...
That works but it's also exhausting... and I unfortunately tend to cry when my anxiety gets too bad ๐ I need another alternative.
