Thanks so much, this is such a sweet comment! I really appreciate it <3 My blog is constructed out of HTML and the variables I get for free from Jekyll, a static site generator I use to build my site. It provides variables like post year/tags/URLs/titles/date. Reading time is calculated simply in HTML by dividing the number of words by 135 to calculate how many minutes it takes to read.

in terms of the actual posts and not the main blog index, I use more jekyll variables to pull the previous and more recent blog post. reactions are by https://www.benji.dog/articles/interactions-or-reactions/ and I use webmentions for post reactions from mastodon (https://webmentions.neocities.org/)

I'm right there with you! Every few months like clockwork I'm like 'what if I just totally redid my whole site'
There's still a lot I have to add but I really like my remake of my site so far!
