after cleaning up the grails page, I noticed the last thing i have to do a major change to is just the music collection page. everything after that is all minor changes. i guess since that requires a ton of pictures I'll get to work on that uhhh... sometime this week!

winds picked up and there is a fire nearby. i was outside trying to clean a ladder so i could wall mount my new shelf but it was hard to see and i smelled fire so i came back in. but then i looked behind n its like... bruh this is bad

went to check outside n it seems like a majority of the smoke has cleared up. idk. i'm not about to go walk over and find out how bad it is currently, but I'm still gonna get prepared in case anything else picks up.

Re: consumption, hoarding and spending, it's good that you're conscious of it. Most people don't give it even a second of thought, it's just spend = get dopamine, and as time wears on e-retailers have made that process more and more thoughtless, frictionless.

luckily im inland so the fires that are really bad can't reach me, but it's not been the first time fire season got our city as well. hoping the winds stay tame for rn. tyty tho :>

I'm very sorry for your loss and hope you can take some small comfort in that you did everything right, and the dog lived to a ripe old age (speaking as someone who worked with animals for years in a professional capacity + also an ex-dachshund owner). I would strongly recommend against trying to detect/treat cancers in dogs of that age, they tend to come back and the repeated surgeries are massively stressful.
