i know it's been five hours but all you need to do to fix that is navigate to the windows folder on the c drive and open explorer.exe
@tripixel Did that in the beginning, didn’t work. Since then, audio inputs and media files have also stopped working
Sounds like malware to me. If you can get to another computer, you can make an Avast boot disk on USB. https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/Antivirus-Rescue-Disk-scan/

I just realized that the Realtek programs and StartMenuExperienceHost.exe are gone now
You really can't detect rootkit malware while Windows is running. You /need/ to boot in from a rescue disk.
Doing a system restore from 11.18.24, 3 days before all of these problems occurred.
