Looks like my guestbook website's security certificate expired so most/all browsers will throw a security risk message now. Time to pack up and move!

I'm debating making the ask box into the sole form of communication on here. It's kind of unorthodox compared to a traditional guestbook, but I don't have to worry about anything breaking, and I would love an excuse to update that page again... I'm actually leaving comments open for once if anyone wants to give input.

i use https://www.123guestbook.com/ and haven't had any problems so far. it's pretty customisable! using only an ask box is very understandable though. please excuse me if you weren't looking for recommendations!

@ratwalks Oh yes I had looked into them when I was picking a guestbook and I can't remember why I decided not to go with them, honestly. I think my hangup is just that I don't like outsourcing things? (Also, I appreciate the help!)

Slowly working on getting all the character pages up to speed. They'll probably be awkwardly inconsistent for a while because I'm revising them as I put the information on the fancy new page layout.

Did someone say redesign? No? Like the madman I am, I have given you a redesign anyway. I will write up a short blog post about my reasoning for this and the overall design thought process, but my immediate concern is scrambling to make sure nothing broke.

Added a separate citizen science section (if I missed your favorite org, let me know and I can add it...) I've also been periodically adding articles, which I obviously encourage reading. This page is getting very long.

Well, I've gone and done it. There is one singular form for guestbook stuff/questions/comments/whatever! I added all the old guestbook messages. Let me know if any links still go to the old ask page.
