Huge news (at least to me): every theme now has its own dark and light mode that will display based on device settings. No more fried eyeballs for people who like dark mode! You may have to do a hard refresh for the changes to populate.

I also zhushed up the plain stylesheet because I realized there was no reason I can't use colors that don't look terrible. It's appropriately beige now.

P.S. Please alert me if any of the dark modes are too hard to read. I can't read them even if they're good, so I definitely won't be able to tell if they're bad...

New default style for the season! My designs already tend to skew autumn-y due to my color preferences, so it was hard coming up with something that actually looks distinct. I think we got there in the end though.

I may or may not make a separate overtly Halloween-y style. The main issue is I already have the moth and corvid styles and the cephalopod style is already orange and black, so I'm not really sure what else there is left lol

In other news, the website where a very large portion of my old art is stored is functioning again, so I will hopefully get around to uploading 2009-2016 in the art gallery at some point in the near future. Wait, I still have to upload 7 years worth of art? Shit.

New sketchblog entry, but also made some changes to the sketchblog proper: I've decided that leaving it on Tumblr is the best option, so I revamped the layout to make it more cohesive with the main website and pointed the domain to http://doodle.kalechips.net

A bit of a doozy today - TWO (2) blog posts (one with a banana bread recipe and one about Gemini), automatic dark mode, new doodle, and I'll be getting a new Halloween fact up later today.
