Working on updating my link list with personalized blurbs for everyone because that used to be somewhat commonplace (at least in the circles I was in) and I think it's nice. Bear with me as I work on filling everyone in...

I also restructured the links page AGAIN, which is funny considering I figured out the CSS tabs code I have on the snippets page specifically for that purpose. But now you don't have to load all those buttons if you don't plan on looking at them!

Speaking of snippets that page is updated now. I chucked my first PHP script on there for good measure, and each code is on its own page now. https://kalechips.net/stuff/snippets.php
Slowly moving the website to PHP files, which I should have done when I migrated the first time but ah well. I've been messing around with PHP, which I've never really done much of before, and it's really fun!

A bit of a doozy today - TWO (2) blog posts (one with a banana bread recipe and one about Gemini), automatic dark mode, new doodle, and I'll be getting a new Halloween fact up later today.

Huge news (at least to me): every theme now has its own dark and light mode that will display based on device settings. No more fried eyeballs for people who like dark mode! You may have to do a hard refresh for the changes to populate.

I also zhushed up the plain stylesheet because I realized there was no reason I can't use colors that don't look terrible. It's appropriately beige now.

P.S. Please alert me if any of the dark modes are too hard to read. I can't read them even if they're good, so I definitely won't be able to tell if they're bad...
