I've reread one of my own articles, AA3. Overall it's evident that even I didn't have quite a clear understanding of the topic, hah. I'm planning to rewrite the entire thing after studying the topic more thoroughly.
I think the Roger Scruton quote was okay, since there was a single purpose to the sentence, to draw a broad comparison between the intellectual basis of the two revolutions. I haven't read this though. I assume this was an introductory sentence followed by more detailed discussion?
