I definitely agree with you on your article of switching to Linux. I use Debian regularly, I switched from Windows a while ago, and I've never truly contemplated installing Windows for long term every day usage. Updates and installing new software are painless processes with apt, my setup only uses 400 mb of RAM on idle, my theming looks zany, etc. Linux is great!
Thanks! The site's simple design comes from my laziness ;). Yes, Debian to me seems to sit in an excellent middle-ground between something totally manual (Slackware or Arch I suppose) and something almost entirely automated (Windows/*buntu/etc). It sure was fun building the system from the ground up like Slackware but with easier tools.
